<b>A Call for Justice on MLK Day:</b> UUPLAN members took part in a march through the streets of Philadelphia, estimated at about 5,000 people, reclaiming the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on the national holiday bearing his name. <b>Raise the Wage Kickoff:</b> UUPLAN joined Raise the Wage PA marchers and Lt. Gov. Michael Stack in Harrisburg to press for an increase in the minimum wage to $10.10 by 2016. <b>Berks Detention Center Protest:</b> UUPLAN members joined coalition members and others from the faith community to protest the incarceration of immigrant mothers and children who are being held indefinitely.
